On Saturday June 18th 2016, Disclosure brought the Wild Life Festival to Forest Hill Queens and it was the perfect weather for a concert. The sun was bright and it was hot like the artists that were about to take the stage.

First up to the stage was Dusky, an electronic duo from London. Their music reminds me of Deadmau5. The only problem I had with them is that they did not have any energy nor did they interact with the crowd. It seemed like they did not even want to be there.

Next to take the stage was Mobb Deep. Even thought they had the shortest set of the night, they came ready to play as if they were headlining. They started the night off with “Survival of the Fittest” and closed it out with the classic “Shook Ones Pt 2.”

After them was a newcomer in the hip-hop scene, Anderson. Paak & The Free Nationals. The energy they brought was amazing. He sounds like Kendrick Lamar meets Frank Ocean. He even played the drums to show off his more of his talents. While on the drums he talked about his mama buying him new sneakers to his ex’s and closing out his set with a cover of David Bowies “Lets Dance “

Finally the moment we all been waiting for Disclosure. The super group from England is know for their hits with big name artist like Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Lorde and many more. They started out playing “White Noise,” before going into “F For You,” which really got the crowd going as the sun started to set on Forest Hills Stadium, bringing out the amazing light show they had for there audience. Playing all of their classics from both of their albums, Settle and Caracal, as well as their most recently released EP, Moog For Love. During the encore Disclosure brought out special guest, the amazing Brendan Reilly, to play “Moving Mountains” and ended the night out with “Latch.”
